英語通訳対応について（料金のご案内）Interpreter Services (Fee Information)

当院では、診療時に英語による通訳対応を希望される場合、所定の通訳料金を頂戴しております。
通訳対応は、医師と患者さまの間で正確な情報共有を行い、安全で質の高い医療を提供するための体制の一環です。
あらかじめ内容と料金をご確認のうえ、ご予約ください。

通訳対応料

【レベル1】部分的英語通訳
「日本語はある程度理解できるが、医療用語の理解に不安がある方」




内容

• 事前問診：日本語（看護師対応）
• 医師診察時に通訳が同席
• 医療用語・重要部分のみ必要に応じて通訳

初診時

初診料：11,000円
通訳料（医師に同席）：3,300円
診察料合計：14,300円




再診時

医師による医療相談料：3,300円／10分
通訳料（医師に同席）：1,100円／10分
診察料合計：4,400円／10分ごと

 

【レベル2】診察全体の英語通訳
「問診から診察、治療やサンプリメントの説明等、すべて英語での対応を希望される方」

内容

• 事前問診：英語（通訳者対応）
• 医師診察時に通訳者が同席
• 療内容、服用方法、医療相談等、診察全体を英語で通訳

初診時

事前問診（通訳者による問診）：3,300円／10分
初診料：11,000円
通訳料（医師に同席）：3,300円
診察料合計：事前問診料＋14,300円




再診時

事前問診（通訳者による問診）：3,300円／10分
医師との医療相談料（通訳者同席）：4,400円／10分
診察料：例）事前問診10分（3,300）＋医師との医療相談20分(8,800)⇒診察料：12,100円

 

※ご注意
英語での事前問診、長時間の逐次通訳、複雑な医療説明が必要な場合は、対応時間に応じて料金が加算されます。

通訳が必要か迷っている方へ（Q&A）

Q. 通訳は必ず必要ですか？
A. 必ずしも必要ではありません。
診察時の会話や説明を日本語で十分に理解できる場合は、通訳は不要です。
一方で、医療用語や治療内容の説明に不安がある場合は、通訳対応のご利用をおすすめします。
Q. 日本語は少し分かりますが、どのレベルを選べばよいですか？
A. 日常会話は問題ないものの、医療用語や重要な説明に不安がある場合は、【レベル1】部分的英語通訳が適しています。
問診から診察、治療やサプリメントの説明まで、すべて英語での対応を希望される場合は、【レベル2】診察全体の英語通訳をおすすめします。
Q. レベル1とレベル2は途中で変更できますか？
A. 原則として、ご予約時に希望の通訳レベルをお知らせください。
当日の診察内容や通訳の対応時間により、実際の通訳内容に応じた料金が適用される場合があります。
Q. 日本人でなくても、通訳は必須ですか？
A. いいえ、必須ではありません。
通訳対応はご希望に応じて選択いただく任意のサービスです。
日本語での診療に問題がない場合は、通訳なしでの受診も可能です。
Q. 家族や友人に通訳をしてもらってもよいですか？
A. はい、問題ありません。
ご家族やご友人による通訳での受診も可能です。
ただし、医療内容には専門的な説明や重要な判断が含まれる場合があります。
そのため、医療用語や治療内容の理解に不安がある場合は、当院の通訳対応サービスのご利用をご検討ください。

 

Interpreter Services (Fee Information)

At our clinic, patients who request English interpreter support during medical consultations are required to pay a designated interpreter fee.
Interpreter services are provided to ensure accurate communication between the physician and the patient, and to maintain safe, reliable, and high-quality medical care.
Please review the details and fees below before making your appointment.

Patients who request English interpreter support between the physician and the patient during medical consultations

Interpreter Fees

【Level 1】Partial English Interpretation
For patients who have some understanding of Japanese but feel uneasy about medical terminology

Service Details

• Pre-consultation questionnaire: Japanese (handled by nursing staff)
• Interpreter present during the physician consultation
• Interpretation provided only for medical terminology and essential explanations, as needed

Initial Visit

Initial consultation fee: ¥11,000
Interpreter fee (present with physician): ¥3,300
Total consultation fee: ¥14,300




Follow-up Visit

Medical consultation fee with physician: ¥3,300 / 10 minutes
Interpreter fee (present with physician): ¥1,100 / 10 minutes
Total: ¥4,400 per 10 minutes

 

【Level 2】Full English Interpretation for the Entire Consultation
For patients who wish to receive all services entirely in English, including medical interviews, consultations, treatment explanations, and supplement guidance

Service Details

• Pre-consultation interview: English (conducted by an interpreter)
• Interpreter present during the physician consultation
• Full interpretation of treatment plans, medication/supplement instructions, and medical consultations

Initial Visit

Pre-consultation interview by interpreter: ¥3,300 / 10 minutes
Initial consultation fee: ¥11,000
nterpreter fee (present with physician): ¥3,300
Total: Pre-consultation fee + ¥14,300




Follow-up Visit

Pre-consultation interview by interpreter: ¥3,300 / 10 minutes
Medical consultation with physician (interpreter present): ¥4,400 / 10 minutes
Example: Pre-consultation interview 10 minutes (¥3,300) ＋ Physician consultation 20 minutes (¥8,800) → Total: ¥12,100

 

■ Important Notes

Fees may increase depending on consultation time if English pre-consultations, extended consecutive interpretation, or complex medical explanations are required.

・These interpreter services are provided to ensure patients feel secure and to enable accurate information sharing with the physician.

Q. Do I need an interpreter to visit your clinic?
A. Not necessarily.
If you are comfortable communicating in Japanese during medical consultations, an interpreter is not required.
However, if you feel uncertain about understanding medical terminology, treatment explanations, or instructions, we recommend using our interpretation services.
Q. I can speak some Japanese. Which interpretation level should I choose?
A. If you understand daily Japanese conversation but are not confident with medical terms or complex explanations, Level 1 (Partial English Interpretation) is appropriate.
If you prefer to receive all explanations in English, including medical interviews and treatment guidance, Level 2 (Full English Interpretation) is recommended.
Q. Can I switch between Level 1 and Level 2?
A. Yes.
Please inform us at the time of reservation which level you prefer.
Depending on the content and duration of interpretation required during your visit, the applicable fee will be determined accordingly.
Q. Is interpretation mandatory for non-Japanese patients?
A. No.
Interpretation services are optional and provided upon request.
Patients may choose whether or not to use interpretation services based on their language comfort level.
Q. Can my family member or friend interpret for me?
A. Yes, that is acceptable.
You may attend your appointment with interpretation provided by a family member or friend.
Please note that medical consultations may involve complex or important information.
